Advanced Asana/Inversions

Designed for the seasoned yogi or the one who is looking for the next step in challenging the mind, body and soul. This 90 minute class will allow the student to step further out of their comfort zone while exploring asanas on the next level. The student will also be introduced in the steps needed to begin preparation for inversions. There is no set pace to this class which allows the students to ask questions and receive the attention needed to further their practice.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is designed for those that have difficulty getting up and down from the floor or who have balance, flexibility, or specific joint issues. All postures and exercises are done on a chair or using a chair for support. Chair Yoga brings the health benefits of yoga to every body, emphasizing a gentle approach to strength, toning and balance enhancement in a safe environment.

Hot Pilates

This 60-minute of hot pilates class blends the elements of traditional mat pilates and our much more contemporary hot pilates. The class offers a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and sculpt the body as well as challenge and strengthen the cardiovascular system. This class is taught in a room heated to 100 degrees and 40% humidity to help the body stretch, detoxify and provide for an invigorating workout. It combines high intensity intervals and circuit training as well as pilates all perfectly choreographed to high energy and upbeat music to make you feel motivated, powerful and sexy!

Hot Traditional 26

The traditional 26 is a series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises designed to be performed in a precise order to work the body systematically in a way that allows oxygenated blood to flow to 100% of the body from the inside out. The series is designed to scientifically warm and stretch muscles, ligaments, and tendons in the ordered to which they should be stretched and the way to which nature intended. Continued practice of the 26 postures strengthens, heals and balances the body. Best of all this series is suitable for yogis of any shape, size, and level.

Hot Yasa

Hot Yasa is the merging of the practice of yoga in a hot room with Vinyasa, or in some cases, other yoga styles. Studio Shares signature series is similar to the popular Vinyasa,flowing style of yoga. Performed in a heated room to produce a one of a kind hot yoga fusion. For those new to yoga, starting out in a hot class may be overwhelming at first. Talk with an instructor and your doctor to determine what type of class is best for you.

Kids Yoga

Designed to be fun and engaging, kids yoga is an opportunity to introduce the practice of yoga to children at a young age. Postures and corresponding sequences are chosen based on their accessibility to kids of any age. Kids are introduced to the practice of mediation where they learn that silence can be okay rather than uncomfortable (or impossible!) Kids who practice yoga often have an increased sense of confidence, focus, creativity, and strength, and they tend to lead healthier lifestyles through better eating habits and willingness to be more active and helpful.

Kaiut Yoga

Kaiut Yoga is all about biomechanical health (or said another way, your freedom of movement). It has been designed to work through chronic pain & injuries, general aches & stiffness, and work for the inflexible, hyper flexible and the aging body. Unlike most yoga that stretches muscles in extraordinary ways, Kaiut Yoga works from the joints. As such, it has a dramatic impact in countering the harmful effects of modern living – where most of us sit most of the day - as well as the harmful impact to our bodies of consistent movement patterns such as frequent running or cycling, playing a certain sport for years, or our compensating behaviours for old sports or other injuries.Kaiut Yoga is about maintaining or returning the body to optimal structure and functionality. It’s about freedom of movement, physical system and energy flow. It’s about keeping us as healthy, mobile and pain free as possible for as long as possible. With more freedom of body comes freedom of mind. It’s about a better quality of life.

Mommy and Me

Designed for new moms prepared to regain their yoga practice after delivery. It is highly encouraged that new moms talk to their doctors about the appropriate amount of time they should wait before they regain their practice, often suggested as six weeks. The Mommy and Me sequence is designed to integrate yoga postures that allow mothers to interact with their babies while they practice, which strengthens the body and bond between the two. It also allows for new moms to experience a sense of community with others in the community.

Prenatal

Perfect for women in any stage of their pregnancy, prenatal yoga is a sequence of carefully arranged postures that safely strengthen and stretch the body in preparation for pregnancy and delivery. Women who maintain a regular prenatal practice throughout their pregnancy often experience a healthy maintenance of the bodily changes experienced throughout pregnancy and are prepared for breathing exercises, hip fluxion, and strength that function as assets during delivery. This also provides an opportunity to connect with other moms-to-be in the community for an extended network of support throughout pregnancy.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa – Similar to a traditional Hatha practice, vinyasa is a series of flowing sequences that challenge the body and the mind through a combination of postures designed to complement a pranayama breathing practice. Series will vary depending on instructor; they often include a variety of sun salutations along with balancing and strengthening postures, all of which reduce stress and increase vitality. Vinyasa is accessible to practitioners of all levels and is offered at least once a day at Studio Share.

Yin Yoga

Perfect for practitioners looking for a meditative practice that focuses on stretching and lengthening more than strengthening, yin focuses on the connective tissues throughout the body, particularly hips, thighs, and the lower spinal area that are not normally exercise. Yin Yoga is not restorative yoga. Like all yoga practices, if the tissues you are targeting for exercise are damages in some way, please give yourself a chance to heal before resuming your regular practice. The inclusion of a yin class in weekly practice is an excellent opportunity to increase personal balance.

Yoga 101

Perfect for anyone new to yoga; Yoga 101 is a class designed to introduce basic yoga postures with demonstration and detail. The class is not set to any particular pace, so students can ask questions and receive advice on adjustments, modifications, and alternative variations to make any posture more accessible. Yoga 101 is an excellent introduction to many of the postures that students experience in the vinyasa series. Many students who complete several Yoga 101 classes feel confident to begin a vinyasa practice in a matter of weeks

A vinyasa flow set to music and held seasonally at the beautiful Historic Riverwalk Pueblo. This series allows the mind, body and soul to adventure out under the sun and be one with nature. Suitable for yogis of all levels and ages.

Yoga=Budhi+Abs+Sculpt

Our signature class is a delicious blend that will bring strength, stretch, balance and stress relief. Come exhale with us! The room is set to 85 degrees, so expect a sweaty, full body workout with fun tunes.
